A face burns forward in yellow, red, and orange, features scratched into being with loose black lines that feel more urgent than careful eyes wide and dark, luminous, holding the viewer with an intensity that refuses to look away. Hair falls in streaks of deep blue and gold, catching light like fire meeting water, while the whole face seems to emerge from a rough, unresolved plane of color, as if concentration itself had a temperature. There’s nothing passive in this stare; it meets you before you’ve decided to look. Gaze isn’t about being seen. it’s about seeing, fully, without apology. The heat in the palette suggests a mind fully present, alert, maybe even confrontational, daring the viewer to hold its attention as long as it holds theirs. Some looks ask permission; this one simply claims the room.
